We joined Bright Horizons when our little one was in the baby room - and three years later, here we are, still part of the family in preschool. Looking back, we’re so glad we chose to stay on through every stage.
Our child already felt at home
By the time he moved up to preschool, our son had built strong relationships - not just with the staff, but with his peers too. His key workers had really gotten to know him, and we’d seen how much that sense of familiarity helped him settle and grow.
We didn’t want to lose that. Staying gave him the confidence to keep learning and exploring, without having to start all over again in a brand-new setting.
The care and attention stood out
When it came to choosing preschool, what really caught our attention was the smaller adult-to-child ratios. It meant he would get plenty of one-on-one time and feel truly supported. We also really appreciated the regular updates from the team in person and on the app - it’s lovely to hear about what he has been doing and learning each day.
Beyond the learning, we loved the carefully planned nutritious meals that suited his needs. The team’s support with life skills like potty training and learning to ride a bike made a real difference. It felt like a place that truly cared for all aspects of his development, not just education.
A space that inspires learning and play
The setting itself is fantastic - clean, bright, and safe, with amazing resources for crafts, activities, and exploration. Whether it’s building, painting, playing outside or getting messy with sensory play, there’s always something new to spark his curiosity. You can tell everything is planned with care and purpose.
Building on a strong foundation
Ultimately, we stayed because we felt our son had a strong foundation - emotionally, socially, and developmentally. The transition to preschool wasn’t a big leap, it was the next natural step in a place where he already felt secure.
And that continuity, for him and for us, has been incredibly rewarding.
