Welcome to Teddies Loughton Day Nursery and Preschool. Our purpose-built nursery is nestled on the scenic edge of Loughton and is dedicated to providing the best care and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Each of our light and airy classrooms has been designed to meet the specific needs of each of our age groups. The rooms benefit from a wide range of excellent resources, books, and sensory activities to encourage creativity and independence.

From cosy book corners and fun dress-up areas to exciting play trays and lovely role-play areas, there is always something new to discover.

Children also enjoy Boogie Mites music sessions where they can learn about the world through music and song.

Your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists.

Building on the foundations of the government's EYFS curriculum, Bright Beginnings combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress – whether that's moving rooms or preparing them for school.

Getting Ready for Their Next Steps

To ensure your little learner is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other essential skills they need to get ready for school.

A Naturally Beautiful Garden

We're so lucky to have a large and exciting garden, with lots of trees and nature surrounding us. The garden is divided into age-appropriate areas, ensuring your little explorer always has the best resources for their age and development.

As our nursery is in such a naturally inspiring area, we want your child to develop a love of the outdoors. This is why each of our classrooms benefits from freeflow access to its own garden areas, where they can learn, play and explore in the ideal environment for them.

All-Inclusive Care and Convenience
