Welcome to Putney Day Nursery and Preschool, where our qualified and wonderful staff are dedicated to the care and early education of all children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Beautiful Refurbished Rooms

Our nursery in Putney provides children with excellent learning and play opportunities in each of our age-specific, refurbished rooms.

The rooms are furnished with inspiring, tailor-made Community Playthings furniture and resources, as well as state-of-the-art ICT equipment in our preschool room.

Our light and airy baby and toddler room has lots of space for your little one to explore and has a cosy and nurturing environment. Babies enjoy open-ended play with messy play and sensory play activities throughout the day.

In our spacious nursery room, we care for children aged 2 to 3, who love spending their days exploring and engaging in activities based on their interests. 

Our preschool room is dedicated to preparing your young learner for the next step in their schooling journey.

A Bright Beginning for Every Child

Your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists.

Building on the foundations of the government’s EYFS curriculum, Bright Beginnings combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child’s wellbeing, development, and progress – whether that’s moving rooms or preparing them for school.

Getting Ready for Their Next Steps

To ensure your little learner is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other essential skills they need to get ready for school.

Extracurricular Sessions

As well as our daily engaging activities, we have several extracurricular sessions for your child to enjoy, including yoga and meditation classes and cooking classes.

Adventures in the Garden

Each of our rooms benefit from free-flow access to their own gardens, allowing your children to explore the safe and fun outdoor space throughout the day.

All-Inclusive Care and Convenience

• Nutritionally-balanced meals are prepared by our onsite chef. Our all-inclusive care extends to nappies, snacks, wipes, nappy cream, and sun cream.
• Onsite buggy park available.
• Rated Good at our last Ofsted inspection.
